Liquid Sodium Chlorite is a chemical solution that contains sodium chlorite (NaClO2) dissolved in water. It is typically used as a disinfectant, bleach, or industrial chemical. When mixed with acid, such as citric acid or hydrochloric acid, it releases chlorine dioxide gas, which is a strong oxidizing agent and has powerful antimicrobial properties.
